VH Foods Inc. DBA Outside The Breadbox of Colorado Springs, Colo., is recalling its 8-ounce packages of “breadcrumbs” because they may contain undeclared eggs and milk.

The recalled “breadcrumbs” were distributed to Colorado retail stores and through mail order on store.outsidethebreadbox.com between November 14, 2025 and December 1, 2025.

The bread crumb product is packaged in a transparent bag, by net weight. 8 ounces, has UPC 873899001554 and has an expiration date of 05/20/2026 at the bottom.

No illnesses have been confirmed to date in relation to this issue.

The recall was initiated after it was discovered that eggs and dairy products were distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of eggs or milk. Subsequent investigation indicates that the problem was caused by a temporary breakdown in the company’s production and packaging processes.

People who are allergic or sensitive to eggs or milk could experience serious or fatal reactions if they consume the recalled product.
