The reunion comes as Colbert nears the end of The Late Show, with the final episode airing May 21. During the podcast, Colbert talked about how he feels with only a few episodes left. The episode marks the first new episode of the podcast in three years. The podcast was originally launched during the 2023 writers’ strike to raise money for staff members working on the five late-night programs.
