Conversational Editing in Google Photos Is Rolling Out to More Android Phones
When the Pixel 10 range was introduced earlier this year, phones are delivered with a “conversational modification” feature in Google Photos. You can type or talk to AI of changes to a photo you want and that would make them for you. Now, the functionality has lost its exclusivity and takes place on eligible Android phones.
The idea of asking the AI to modify your photos can look like a living room thing, but it will allow more people to get what they want from a photo without having to dive into individual photo editing tools. The new feature follows shortly after the deployment of the updated photo editor for Google Photos published at the end of August.

What makes you eligible?
Google says it is currently running the feature of eligible Android users. You must:
- Be 18 or over
- Be located in the United States
- Have your Google language defined on English (United States)
- Turn on facial groups
- Have activated location estimates
Even if you meet all the requirements, you may not yet see request photos. Google says that feature is not yet available in all regions.
What can you do with conversational edition?
