On top of that, footage resurfaced of Simmons testifying before Congress last July, in which she touted the benefits of Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill,” saying it would help her as a caregiver and mother. Republican Rep. David Kustoff posted his testimony on his X account.

This clearly shows that the event was staged, as do the mathematically incorrect talking points. A DoorDash communications employee, Julian Fels, seemed to break down when this emerged, saying on X that although the event was foreseen between DoorDash and the White House, Simmons is a real DoorDash employee.
