Gear News of the Week: Amazon Buys Bee, VSCO Has a New App, and CMF Debuts a Smartwatch
This is not all that is new. The assistant is back to OS 6 wear and tear
The update of Google Wear OS 6 has started to deploy this week – this is the latest version of the smartwatch operating system, introducing a more colorful interface, even more glancable widgets, in parallel with improvements in electrical efficiency for better battery life. One of the oldest Watch Face vision applications, Facer – which has hundreds of themed watch faces conceptions on various platforms – announced an update adding compatibility with Wear OS 6. This is a big news, since the application lost compatibility after Wear OS 5 was deployed in 2024.
Facer did not support the vision format of the Google watch (WFF) when launching the OS 5, which was compulsory to access the complications of the watch’s face. The company had to work with Google to bring back a full functionality of its watch faces to wear OS 6, and it even says that Faiser will offer “a considerably improved battery life” on all faces.
The factors update also adds new collaborations, such as a SpongeBob Squarepants Watch watch, as well as a social component called “Look”. It is a tab in the application that allows you to show your favorite watch faces. Consider it as a new way of discovering the faces of watches outside the general explore page of the application. If you like a look, you can discover which watch that they use and download it, and if you like their watch strap, Facer will point you to its own strap store so you can catch it.
VSCO launches a new application called Capture
Photo filter and VSCO assembly application – Yes, the same that popularized the “VSCO girl” – has existed since 2012, but the company just launched an autonomous mobile application after a decade. Capture is a camera application only iPhone which has more than 50 “live presets” with real -time film effects and manual parameters for better control on the final image. It essentially allows you to preview the final look of your photo even before touching the trigger.
These presets are non -destructive, so you can always change the original captured image later if you decide to change things. It supports RAW and PRORAW formats, has real -time effects like Bloom and can instantly synchronize with the VSCO application for additional changes or sharing. It is free to download now, and there is no word if an Android application will be available in the future.
