Atari is no longer the dominant force it was in the 1980s, but its catalog still defines early video game history. THE Go gaming station tries to bring that heritage together into one handheld device, both in the way it looks and the way it plays. The main attraction is the library. You have over 200 built-in games, including recognizable titles like Asteroids, Breakout, Centipede, Missile Command, Tempest and Yar’s Revenge. The bulk of the collection is from the Atari 2600, with smaller selections from the 5200 and arcade versions. There are also some licensed additions like PAC-MAN and games from Jaleco and PIKO Interactive. If that’s not enough, you can expand the library further using a microSD card.

The hardware is also designed to match the games. There’s a seven-inch color screen, and instead of relying on a single control system, it includes a standard paddle, directional pad, trackball, number pad, and buttons. On the other hand, the build quality seems basic and the layout is not very comfortable for long sessions.
