Report of the Yale Committee on Trust in Higher Ed

In April 2025, you asked our committee to examine the problem of declining confidence in higher education. Your manager highlighted the need to engage a variety of perspectives, both within the university and outside. While addressing some important issues, such as the problem of self-censorship on campus, you have given our committee a broad mandate to conduct our work as we see fit. We now submit this report of our deliberations and recommendations.
