A restaurant in an Australian state has been fined for failures that contributed to a foodborne outbreak.
Consumer complaints about illnesses after dining out in 2023 prompted an inspection by NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) compliance officers, who found poor conditions including dirty floors, fixtures, fixtures and surfaces, rodent droppings, uncovered food and inadequate sanitization methods.
