Richmond’s Jamaal Brown rushes for career-high 153 yards in 38-14 win over VMI

Richmond, go. (AP) – Jamaal Brown rushed at a career summit of 153 yards, Andrew King added 100 other yards on the ground, and Isaiah Dawson had two affected for Richmond in a 38-14 victory against VMI on Saturday evening.

Richmond (2-2) took an advance of 14-7 before the match entered a weather time due to lightning in the region with 5:48 remaining in the first quarter. The match was suspended for more than three hours.

Once the game has resumed, VMI scored a pass on a pass to Owen Sweeney to equalize the match at 14 years old. Sweeney scored the two affected for Keydets, totaling 106 yards.

Richmond’s quarter-arre, Kyle Wickersham, launched a 13 yard pass to Isaiah Dawson for her second in the match to regain his head. Dawson had 99 yards in total. Wickersham went 10 for 13 and launched 166 yards and recorded a precipitated touch.

King had a rush around 83 yards on the key to extend the advance of spiders at 31 years old. Richmond totaled 541 yards on the ground.

Lee Bruner IV from Richmond recorded his first collegial interception in the second quarter.

Richmond went to 47-40-5 against VMI (1-3), going back to 1893. The last time the two teams met, it was in 2015, a 42-10 victory for Richmond.
