Sauce Gardner has 7 words for Jets kid sad about Colts trade
New Indianapolis Colts cornerback Sauce Gardner felt sorry for a poor Jets fan who cried upon hearing the news that Gardner had been traded.
A father shared a video on social media of him announcing to his two children that the Jets had held a fire sale and traded Gardner and defensive tackle Quinnen Williams before the 2025 trade deadline.
One of the kids immediately started crying over the news about Gardner in particular before soon declaring himself a new Colts fan. His father told him they would replace his Gardner Jets jersey with a new one.
Gardner watched the video in question and playfully wondered why the father didn’t wait at least a day before delivering the bad news.
you should have at least waited until tmrw😭😭 https://t.co/yHYoRTe83j

Hey, we get it! For Jets fans, seeing some of your best players get traded is brutal. We wonder if this kid will follow through on his plan to cheer for the Colts now. Maybe Gardner will send him a signed Indy jersey?
