The United Nations concluded his day’s investigation into the mysterious judgment of President Donald Trump’s escalator on Tuesday when he arrived at the United Nations General Assembly.

The accidental culprit? A white house videographer who probably stumbled a safety mechanism.

The spokesman for the UN Secretary General Stéphane Dujarric, said in a note to journalists that a technician had found that it was the white house videographer who was involuntarily behind the now international incident that had been taken on video.

“The escalator had stopped after an integrated safety mechanism at the comb stage was launched at the top of the escalator,” said Dujarric. “The safety mechanism is designed to prevent people or objects accidentally captured and stuck or pulled in the gears. The videographer may inadvertently triggered the security function described above. ”

But the escalator was not the only thing that misunderstood Trump during his visit to the UN

“I don’t mind making this speech without a teleprommer, because the telepromitator does not work,” said Trump shortly after taking the podium to approach the 193 delegations around the world.

“There are two things that I obtained from the United Nations: a bad escalator and a bad telepromptor,” he said.

A UN official told NBC News that the White House was responsible for Trump’s Trump’s operation.

The Associated Press first reported the UN results on the two incidents.

Trump appeared in a good mood about it.

“The telepromitator was broken and the escalator came to a sudden Hault while we get rid of the podium, but these two events probably made the speech more interesting than it would have been other,” wrote Trump on Truth Social. “It is always an honor to speak to the United Nations, even if, their equipment is somewhat defective.”

His press secretary, however, saw things very differently.

“If someone in the UN intentionally stopped the escalator while the president and the first lady were walking, he must be dismissed and investigated immediately,” wrote Karoline Leavitt on X.

A few hours later, on Fox News, Leavitt suggested that UN staff may have sought to injure Trump and said the problem was far from solved.

“When you have put it all together, it doesn’t look like a coincidence for me,” she told the host Jesse Watters.

“I know we have people, including the United States secret services, who examine this to try to go to the bottom,” added Leavitt. “And if we find that it was members of the UN staff who deliberately tried to trip – literally tripping – the president and the first lady of the United States, well, it is better to be responsibilities for these people, and I will expect them personally.”
