Former Premier League rivals Harry Kane and Mohamed Salah both reached the same career milestone last month by reaching 50 Champions League goals.
Bayern Munich striker Kane found the net twice in his side’s emphatic 4-1 win over Atalanta in this season’s round of 16, while Salah’s beautifully struck shot completed a resounding 4-1 aggregate victory for Liverpool over Galatasaray.

Kane has since added to his tally with goals in both legs of Bayern’s quarter-final victory over Real Madrid.
Salah is technically listed as having 54 career Champions League goals. However, four of them took part in qualifying round matches rather than the full competition.

Salah and Kane still have a way to go to get close to the all-time record – although reaching 50 goals means they have entered the all-time top 10.
Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 140 league goals, closely followed by Lionel Messi with 129.

Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski is currently still playing in the competition but is far behind both, with the Poland international on 109 goals.
Who reached 50 goals in the Champions League the fastest?
It took Salah 97 Champions League matches to reach 50 goals – becoming the first African player to do so – and 66 for Kane.
This places Kane third with Lionel Messi, while Salah is ninth with Raul.
Erling Haaland averaged just over a goal per game to score 50 goals in just 49 appearances.
